There is too much noise in many public places in cities. What are the causes of this problem? What can be done to solve the problem? – ielts 7 band essay – writing task 2 – dynamic IELTS
Introduction
It is a well-known reality that noise pollution is currently getting worse rather in many cities. Governments and individuals are both to blame for this and in my opinion, the problem can only be properly resolved by working together.
Body paragraph 1
The sole observable factor in determining an individual’s responsibility is the lack of discipline they exhibit in urban areas. More specifically, a lot of people are seen generating noise incoherently at different volumes or passively participating in the process. For instance, drivers show less patience and are often observed indiscriminately blowing their horns in public spaces like hospitals and schools. Similar to the last example, it is a common belief that noise may draw people, hence the majority of social events and commercial activity in cities tend to be quite loud. The problem is made worse by loud noises coming from factories and other industrial facilities.
Body paragraph 2
When governments are held accountable for this, it is clear that their insufficient noise-reduction laws bear the brunt of the blame. To be more specific, numerous governments are observed implementing strategies like posting warning boards and imposing fines. Cities’ industrial zones, building sites, and transportation regions all have the loudest noise levels. Because the problem cannot be solved by the government alone, a consensus solution is difficult to come by. First and foremost, city people need to be more disciplined and comprehend the effects of these deafening noises. Also, they ought to support any effort made by the government to keep the noise down in their cities. In addition to current efforts, governments should embrace cutting- edge solutions that incorporate contemporary technologies to address the problem.
Conclusion
In conclusion, it is evident that both individuals and the government are accountable for the noise pollution in cities, and the problems can be resolved with coordinated efforts from both.
