Nowadays, more and more people from different cities are spending more time away from their families. What are the possible reasons and the effects on the people themselves and their families? – ielts 7 band essay – writing task 2 – dynamic IELTS
Introduction
Family separation is a result of the modern world becoming more exposed than it has ever been. Families hardly ever have an opportunity to get together. The potential barriers to their unification and the potential effects of those barriers will be looked at in this essay.
Body paragraph 1
To start, the process of globalization has made it possible for each of us to travel freely around the world for work or to change our life. Naturally, employment consumes approximately a third of our daily time. Although a person employed by a multinational corporation is required to travel frequently for work purposes to other nations, the average workday is significantly longer than eight hours. Almost everyone else who used to live in suburbs relocates to cities. Large cities do indeed offer a wealth of chances for both employment and education. As a result, many young people, especially, leave their hometowns in search of excellent jobs or educational opportunities. They hardly ever get the chance to spend time at home with their families as a result.
Body paragraph 2
Such a trend might have several serious negative effects on family harmony and mental health. Given that people spend a lot of time apart from their family members, a lack of engagement and communication may result in a persistent sense of loneliness and isolation, which is harmful to one’s mental health. The bonds between family members are also deteriorating. For instance, relatives would find it difficult to replace their potential daily connection by having only an annual meeting as a traditional dinner.
Conclusion
In conclusion, the close knits of the family are hampered by modern living. When families miss out on significant amounts of time with their loved ones, some repercussions can make it more difficult for families to stay together.
