Crime rates will fall as advances in technology make it easier to detect and prevent crimes. To what extent do you agree or disagree? – ielts 7 band essay – writing task 2 – dynamic IELTS
Introduction
It is expected that as technology advances, it will make it simpler for people to identify and investigate crimes in the future. Even though there are some difficulties, I have continued to be optimistic when some claim that this results in a drop in the crime rate.
Body paragraph 1
The primary factor in my agreement is the fact that technology has made significant advancements in the fields of crime detection and prevention. In several sectors, technology has made contributions that are currently unsurpassed. For instance, the adoption of biometric security systems and surveillance cameras has resulted in a decline in crimes, which were once very widespread. Similarly to this, using advanced internet security solutions helps a larger percentage of internet users feel secure in the online world.
Body paragraph 2
Regarding the future, it is certain that technology will develop significantly more than we can currently imagine. As a result, it is hoped that the study of crime, including its analysis, transmission, and prevention, would advance to the next level as well. The use of artificial intelligence in crime detection and prevention is one such anticipated advancement. As a result, it is simple to virtually identify bad intentions and socially unacceptable behaviors, which allows for the adoption of the necessary preventive measures. But the key issue here is that technology has a low probability of altering human behavior. Even while it is good at spotting bad intentions, it would still be difficult to prohibit crime because it is inextricably linked to human nature.
Conclusion
In conclusion, it is undeniable that future technology will be able to significantly slow down the rate of crime, but it is unlikely that it would completely eradicate it because crime has to do with human psychology.
