1. When was the last time you went to a place where people go to dance in your country?
The last time I went to a place where people go to dance was just three days ago. It was the after-party celebration of our senior’s farewell at college and we had a DJ setup playing some groovy beats. It was a great opportunity for everyone to let loose and dance their hearts out.
2. When was the last occasion when you danced a lot?
The last occasion when I danced a lot was at the after party DJ of our seniors. It was the first time that we had a chance to dance in college as freshers. The music was so upbeat and energetic that I couldn’t help but groove to the rhythm. Everyone was having a great time and it was a perfect way to unwind after a hectic semester.
3. Do you like dancing?
I absolutely love dancing. It’s a great way to express oneself, have fun, and let go of inhibitions.
4. Have you ever learnt dancing? Why? / Why not?
Yes, I have learnt dancing. I learned Kathak, a classical Indian dance form. I wanted to learn it because I was fascinated by the intricate footwork, graceful movements, and expressive storytelling through dance.
5. Did you learn to dance? Why? / Why not?
Yes, I learned to dance because I was passionate about it. Learning Kathak helped me appreciate the rich cultural heritage of my country and also taught me discipline, dedication, and patience.
6. Why do you think people love to dance?
I think people love to dance because it’s a universal language that transcends age, language, culture, and boundaries. It’s a way to connect with oneself, others, and the music on a deeper level. Dancing also releases endorphins that make one feel happy and energized.
7. Do you think children love to dance?
Yes, children love to dance. It comes naturally to them and they enjoy the freedom of movement and expression that dancing offers. Dancing is also a great way for children to develop coordination, balance, creativity, and social skills.
8. Do you see dance on TV?
Yes, I often see dance on TV. From reality shows to music videos, dance is an integral part of the entertainment industry. It’s fascinating to see the diversity of dance styles, costumes, and choreography from around the world.
