Describe something you taught to your friend/relative
– What you taught him/her?

I taught badminton to my junior college-mate, who happened to be my roommate in hostel, when I was in my second year of college. She was interested in learning the sport, and I had been playing badminton for a few years, so I offered to teach her.
We started the lessons in the evening after our college hours, and we practiced for about an hour every day for a couple of weeks. During the first few sessions, I taught her the basics of badminton, such as the proper grip, footwork, and strokes. Then we gradually progressed to more advanced techniques, such as drop shots, clears, and smashes.
Apart from learning the sport, we also enhanced our fitness levels during these sessions. Badminton is a physically demanding sport that requires a lot of running, jumping, and lunging. By practicing regularly, we were able to improve our stamina, strength, and agility. We also learned the importance of warming up and stretching before and after playing, which helped prevent injuries and muscle soreness.
Teaching badminton to my junior college-mate was a fulfilling experience for me. I enjoyed sharing my knowledge of the sport with someone who was eager to learn, especially because she was a girl who wanted to pursue a traditionally male-dominated sport. It was also a great opportunity for me to brush up my own skills and get some practice. Overall, I felt proud to have taught her something new and valuable.

Even after completing formal education, learning is a never- ending journey. By constantly training and staying up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies, people can ensure that they remain competitive and relevant in their industry. So, it’s important to make training a regular part of your routine and not just something that’s done occasionally. After all, you never know when a new opportunity or challenge will come your way that requires you to apply new skills or knowledge.
6. How can the young teach the old?
The young can teach the old by leading by example. They can show them how to use technology, demonstrate new skills, and encourage them to try new things. They can also be patient and understanding, realizing that it may take time for the old to learn something new.
