- My favorite kind of music is pop music, but I also enjoy listening to Sufi music. I find that pop music is really upbeat and energizing, and it’s perfect for when I need a pick-me-up or to get motivated for a workout. Sufi music, on the other hand, is more meditative and calming. I like to listen to it when I want to relax and unwind after a busy day.
6. Have you ever been to a concert?
- I have not had the opportunity to attend a concert yet, but it is something that I would love to do in the future. One artist I would love to see live is Arijit Singh as I find his songs very soothing and meaningful. I have heard from friends and family that the experience of attending a concert is unforgettable, and I would love to have that experience myself.

- Yes, I would love to listen to live music, although I have not had the chance to attend a concert yet. Seeing your favorite musicians perform live can be a dream come true, and can create memories that last a lifetime. Also, attending a live music performance can be a great experience as it allows you to connect with the music on a deeper level.
8. When did you start listening to this type of music?
- I started listening to pop music when I was a teenager and became interested in Sufi music later on in life. I discovered pop music through the songs played on the radio and music channels. My friends and classmates also introduced me to some popular pop music artists like Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber, and Ariana Grande. I started listening to Sufi music when I heard a song playing in a cafe and was captivated by its unique melody and soothing vocals. After that, I started exploring more Sufi music artists and their songs, and it quickly became one of my favorite genres.

Additionally, I also listen to music while commuting to work or while doing household chores like cooking, cleaning or laundry. Sometimes, I also listen to music while exercising or taking a walk. Depending on the situation, I may choose to listen to music through headphones or speakers. I also sometimes listen to music while studying or working, but it depends on the task at hand as sometimes music can be a distraction.

- Listening to music makes me feel relaxed, happy, and sometimes even emotional depending on the lyrics or melody. And specifically listening to Sufi music makes me feel spiritually connected, peaceful, and helps me to reflect on life. The soothing melodies and soulful lyrics have a calming effect on my mind and body, and it feels like a form of meditation.
11. Have you ever learned to play a musical instrument?
- Learning to play a musical instrument has always been an interest of mine, but I found it challenging to make time for regular practice. I enjoyed the process of learning to play the guitar, but I struggled with some of the more technical aspects of playing. Although I was not successful in learning to play the guitar, I have a lot of respect for those who are skilled musicians. In the future, I would like to try learning another instrument, such as the piano or violin.

- Music is not considered a core subject in Indian schools, but it is still taught as an elective in some schools and is valued as a form of cultural expression. In some Indian schools, there are dedicated music teachers who teach students about the basics of music theory, different types of music, and even how to play certain instruments. However, the emphasis on music education varies greatly across different schools and education boards in India. Overall, while music may not be considered as important as subjects like math and science, it is still seen as a valuable part of a well-rounded education.

- Yes, I loved listening to music as a child and would often dance to Bollywood songs with my family. I also enjoyed listening to English pop music and watching music videos on TV.

- Bollywood music is the most popular type of music in India, but other genres like classical music, regional music, and pop music are also popular.
15. Which singer/musician would you like to see in person?
- There are many singers/musicians I would like to see perform live, but at the top of my list is Arijit Singh. His soulful voice and romantic songs always touch my heart, and I would love to experience his live performance.
