Home/Accommodation
1. Do you live in a house or flat? Or What kind of housing/accommodation do you live in?
- I currently live in a 2 BHK flat in the heart of the city.
2. Please describe it a little.
- It is a beautifully decorated space with stunning wallpaper and some gorgeous hanging lamps. Generally, my living space exudes a warm, inviting ambiance. Over the years, I have taken great pleasure in customizing and personalizing my home, making it a true reflection of my individuality and style.
3. What’s your favorite room in your home?
- Without a doubt, my favorite room in my home is the dining room. It is a space where family and friends gather together to enjoy meals, share stories, and create lasting memories. The atmosphere is always lively and cheerful, filled with the sounds of laughter and the aroma of delicious food. Whether it’s a simple weeknight dinner or a special occasion, the dining room always plays host to warm and wonderful moments of togetherness.
4. What have you done to your room to make it look nice?
- Over the years, I have put considerable effort into transforming my room into a space that is both aesthetically pleasing and functional. One of the key elements that I have added to enhance the look and feel of the room is wallpaper. The textured wallpaper not only adds visual interest to the walls, but also creates a warm and inviting atmosphere. In addition, I have carefully chosen lighting fixtures to complement the wallpaper and enhance the overall ambiance of the room. By installing a combination of ceiling and hanging lamps, I have created a cozy and inviting environment that is perfect for unwinding after a long day. The soft, warm glow of the lights creates a calming effect, and the overall effect is both stylish and welcoming.
5. Who do you live with?
- I live with my immediate family, which includes my parents and sibling, in a cozy home that we all love. It’s a peaceful and comfortable environment, and we all get along well with each other. In addition to my immediate family, we also have the pleasure of hosting my cousins during the holidays, which is always a fun and exciting time.
6. Which room does your family spend most of the time in?
- Our family spends most of our time in the dining room, where we enjoy our meals together. It’s the only time during the day that we can all sit down and catch up with each other after a busy day at work or college.
7. How long have you lived there?
- Certainly! Not for a very long time but we have been living in our current home for a few years now, and it has become a comfortable and familiar place for us.
8. Do you plan to live there a long time?
- Although we have enjoyed our time here, we are looking to move into a new house with more garden space in the near future, so we do not plan to live here for a long time. Our family enjoys spending time outdoors, and having a larger garden would allow us to do more activities together, such as gardening, playing sports, or having barbecues. Overall, we have created many fond memories in our current home, but we are excited for the new opportunities and experiences that await us in our future home.
9. (If you answer you haven’t lived there long) what’s the difference between where you are living now and where you have lived in the past?
- In the past, I lived in a big house with a joint family, which had a large garden where all my cousins and I would play together. Now, I live in a flat with no garden, as my family moved to a different city because of my parents job transfer. The biggest difference between where I live now and where I lived in the past is the size and layout of the accommodation. Living in a joint family meant that there was always someone around to talk to or spend time with, whereas living in a nuclear family has its own advantages, such as greater privacy and independence. However, I do miss the big house and the garden where I used to play with my cousins, and I hope to have a similar living arrangement in the future.
10. What do you usually do in your house/flat/room?
- I take pride in maintaining a tidy and organized living space, so I make it a point to clean and tidy up my flat regularly. Apart from that, I enjoy decorating the interior of my flat with various pieces of artwork, rugs, and furniture that complement each other and create a cozy and inviting atmosphere. I also like to spend my free time relaxing in my room, reading a book or watching a movie.
11. Are the transport facilities to your home very good?
- Yes, the transport facilities to my home are quite good. There are bus stops nearby, and the train station is just a short distance away.
12. Do you plan to move?
- Yes, I do plan to move into a bigger house with a bigger garden.
13. Would you like to move to another place to live? (Why/why not?)
- Yes, I would like to move to another place to live because I want to have more space for my family and have a garden where we can relax and enjoy nature.
14. Are you prepared to move?
- Although I am interested in moving to a bigger house with a garden, I am not prepared to move immediately. It will require a lot of planning and saving up enough funds to afford the new house. However, I am looking forward to making this move in the future.
