Today, many people do not know their neighbors in large cities. What problem does this cause? What can be done about this? IELTS 7 band essay – writing task 2 – dynamic IELTS
Introduction
Nowadays, most people don’t have much time for neighborhood interaction. This is the result of people’s hectic lives, which are brought on by the financial problems they are confronted with. This essay lists a few contributing factors and offers several remedies to address the problem.
Body paragraph 1
The general public’s busy lives are the primary cause of this issue, which prevents them from knowing their neighbors. People today need to work hard if they want to be able to feed their families. For instance, in a nuclear family, both the guy and the woman may work a nine-to-five job to make a good living. On the other hand, traffic congestion is a constant in metropolitan areas, particularly during rush hour. As a result, workers spend the majority of their time stalled in traffic on the way to work. As a result, on weekdays they lack the energy to interact with their neighbors, and on weekends they choose to unwind and recharge so they can tackle the next week with fresh energy.
Body paragraph 2
There are ways to create free time for socializing with one another, though. First of all, most nations have a few traditional holidays they observe. To commemorate these important occasions collectively, people could organize a celebration. For instance, they might meet up at someone’s house, or if the building includes a garden, they might get together there. Also, parents with kids could allow their kids to play with other families’ kids so they can develop relationships.
Conclusion
In conclusion, busy schedules and economic conditions make it difficult for society to get to know the folks that live next door. But, there are some suggestions about how to fix it, like getting together to celebrate customary occasions or letting their kids make friends.
