Introduction
The two methods for producing black tea are shown in the diagram. While the contemporary method is best for teabags, the traditional method is preferred for loose tea.
Body paragraph 1
To ensure high-quality tea, the tea picker only selects the two top leaves and the bud when gathering tea. The leaves next go through a process called withering, during which the air is pumped through them and up to 60% of the moisture is removed. The leaves can then be rolled or chopped after that. To create teabags, factories may use time-tested rolling and crushing techniques or quicker modern cutting, tearing, and curling techniques.
Body paragraph 2
Natural enzymes are produced from the leaves in both processes. In the subsequent oxidation process, air and enzymes from the leaves mix. As a result, the leaves turn from green to copper and develop a delightful flavor and aroma. The leaves are finally dried and burned. Only 3% of the tea’s original moisture is left at this point.
Conclusion
In conclusion, both traditional and modern methods for producing black tea follow nearly the same stages, except for stage two.
