Educating young people is naturally important. However, some think governments ought to invest more in education for adults in need. To what extent do you agree or disagree? – IELTS 7 band essay 2023 – writing task 2
Introduction
Investing in young people’s education is crucial, but some people argue that the government should focus more on raising the knowledge of the older generation. This essay completely disagreed with that assertion for several reasons, most of which had to do with the lack of budgetary resources and the excessive usage of facilities by adults.
Body paragraph 1
First off, the government’s resources are limited in the area of education. Therefore, policymakers must allocate resources in a proper and precise manner. Everyone is aware that children are the most important group since they will shape society’s future. In this way, they need to be learned and mastered in a variety of classes, including those in science, math, physics, art, etc. The knowledge and skills of all regulating programs should be planned. China is a prime example of this capitalization, where every decision is made with the future of children in mind.
Body paragraph 2
Moreover, children who are growing up today are completely responsible for shaping the destiny of the nations. They would also be a pioneer in the fields they picked. Hence, authorities should encourage people to become experts in their respective fields by offering a variety of programs that are suitable for this purpose. They will gain a variety of invaluable experiences throughout this time, elevating the human resources in their country. Furthermore, it is undeniable that older individuals face many additional expenses because they frequently lack the skills necessary for a suitable job and may even be unemployed. The government is in charge of numerous expenses like housing, insurance, leisure, and wages for older individuals. As a result, all of these resources are used up without being returned to the Treasury, which is essential to this generation and should be funded.
Conclusion
In conclusion, I would state that there is no doubt that the government has borne many costs for adults so that they may live well, and the essay shows that there is no need to have more spending on pointless things like raising their literacy level. Thus, younger generations who receive greater financial aid for their education have my full support over senior citizens since they will thrive in a variety of ways and be able to overcome technological challenges.
