Introduction
The pie charts depict the main factors that drove individuals to and away from the
UK in 2007. The primary aspect driving this selection was employment, which is evident at first glance.
Body paragraph 1
A fixed job accounted for 30% of immigration to the UK, and this percentage was quite comparable for emigration, at 29%. 22% of people also left their home countries in search of employment, however, this percentage was notably smaller at less than a fifth of those who entered the UK.Around a quarter of immigrants come to the UK to pursue formal education, which is another important reason. Yet, it’s noteworthy to see that only 4% of people departed for this.
Body paragraph 2
In both immigration and emigration, the percentages of people relocating to be
with family members were relatively similar, at 15% and 13%, respectively.
Although a sizable percentage of people (32%) indicated “other” reasons or did
not provide a reason for their emigration, this only accounted for 17% of
immigration.
Conclusion
In conclusion, it is evident that the primary reason for moving to or from the UK in the specified year was related to employment, precisely this was to take up a certain job.
