In many countries, children are becoming overweight and unhealthy. Some people think that the government has the responsibility to solve this problem. To what extent do you agree or disagree? IELTS 7 band essay -2023
Introduction
Young children are now more frequently affected by health problems than ever
before. Some people believe that the government should handle this issue. To a
certain extent, I agree with this viewpoint. Since, in my view, everyone has to
address this issue, including the government, society, people and media.
Body paragraph -1
At first, the growing amount of food adulteration is making kids fat and unwell.
There may be other issues as well, but this is a significant one. In impoverished
nations, for instance, food samples routinely test positive for lead and mercury. These pollutants interfere with our metabolism and destroy intestinal flora, which causes us to gain weight. Recent research has also demonstrated the connection between lead ingestion and cancer. The government should strengthen the penalties for food businesses that are caught adulterating. The health inspector
should also visit all restaurants and food establishments often. Also, because a
healthy population is an asset to a nation, the government has to encourage it.
Thus, The state also can run awareness activities among youngsters about the
dangers of being overweight and unhealthy.
Body paragraph -2
One should be aware that the state is constrained in its ability to eliminate these
health problems in kids. When additional outside forces are involved, it becomes
more effective. The parents might have the most beneficial influence since they
can offer useful suggestions on the child’s lifestyle. For instance, parents alone
may easily select what food is best for their kids and how to provide it to them in
a way that would preserve their health. A family that maintains a healthy routine
and exercise programme would instill these positive behaviors in their children
and other youngsters, preventing these early children from succumbing to health
issues. The media can also play a significant part in advertising youth to adopt healthy lifestyle. To be more specific, media outlets should recognize their social obligation to refrain from using compelling commercials that may easily reach youngsters to encourage the sales of junk food. Instead, the media should educate young people about leading healthy lives.
Introduction
To sum up, it is obvious that the state must take action to reduce the prevalence of lifestyle disorders. Yet one must realize that parents and marketing firms are
also accountable for ensuring this.
